Only about 30 miles of Lanai Island's 400 miles of
roads are paved so if you are renting a car you will
probably want a jeep or other four-wheel drive vehicle,
which needs to be reserved in advanced.
Taxis from tbe airport are usually available
and limousine transportation can be arranged
in advanced for transfers and tours. The Four
Seasons offfers an airport shuttle from the
airport to their two hotels but that is available
to their hotels guests only, and only with advanced
reservations.
