NAME: Maluhia Road Tree Tunnel
ADDRESS: nothern-most section of Highway 520, just south of Kaumualiiu Highway
LOCATED: about 3 miles north of Old Koloa Town, South Kauai Island, Hawaii

- a stretch of highway featuring more than 500 Eucalyptus trees
- the trees shade the first mile of highway 520 that connects Koloa with Poipu
- the original 500 trees were planted in 1911
- they were a gift to the community from Pineapple Baron Walter McBryde.
- Maluhia Road marks the northern end of the Koloa Heritage Trail

DIRECTIONS:
turn south onto the Maluhia Road (Route 520) from the Kaumualii Highway (Highway 50) and drive south.
